NextGen AV Tech extends bridal expo audio with RF Venue’s RF PA Extension Kit

—Wireless audio distribution served lobby speakers at Houston Marriott Sugar Land without long cable runs by employing the RF PA Extension Kit audio solution from RF Venue® —

Walpole, MA, USA, October 6, 2026 — When the South Asian Bridal Expo expanded into the lobby of the Houston Marriott Sugar Land, NextGen AV Tech needed to feed additional speakers without running long cables through the event space. The Houston-based production team used RF Venue’s RF PA Extension Kit to connect the lobby speakers wirelessly for the August 23 event, produced by Blink Entertainment.

NextGen AV Tech owner Shabaz Gillani recalled seeing RF Venue’s RF PA Extension Kit at the 2026 InfoComm show and told a production colleague that he had the solution for the application, “And the solution worked perfectly,” said Gillani. The RF PA Extension Kit reduced installation time and delivered flawless audio without trip hazards and without taking away from the event’s aesthetic look.

The expo deployment followed other uses by NextGen AV Tech. At Houston’s Ismaili Center’s Black Box Theater, the team used the RF PA Extension Kit for outfill speakers during a program centered on spoken and artistic performances. The theater’s mixing position was in a control room one floor above the performance space making wired runs difficult. Gillani said the kit “performed spectacularly.”

NextGen AV Tech also used the kit for outfills at a separate outdoor courtyard event. That production included 16 wireless handheld microphones, multiple wireless cameras, LED walls, image magnification and communications systems. Despite the number of RF devices operating in the open-air setting, Gillani said the RF PA Extension Kit “did not disappoint.”

Designed for live sound applications, the RF PA Extension Kit distributes audio wirelessly to speaker locations such as delay positions, overflow areas and remote zones, all the way up to main PAs. The RF PA Extension Kit pairs a two-channel 1RU transmitter with two single-channel IP54-rated diversity receivers featuring built-in compensation delay adjustable up to 800 milliseconds, allowing production teams to deliver high-quality audio to remote loudspeaker systems quickly, safely and cost-effectively when traditional wired connections are impractical, even outdoors in inclement weather.

"NextGen AV Tech saw an opportunity to improve coverage at the bridal expo without complicating the setup," said Chris Regan, RF Venue co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer. “Seeing them apply the same tool across a hotel lobby, a theater and an outdoor courtyard shows the range of situations production teams encounter and the problem-solving versatility of the RF PA Extension Kit.”

“The product itself is phenomenal,” Gillani said. He plans to next use the RF PA Extension Kit on a main PA at a future reception for approximately 300 to 400 guests, extending NextGen AV Tech’s application of the RF PA beyond the firm’s successful outfill and satellite speaker deployments.
